A growing legacy of nursing excellence rooted in compassion, faith and service to Zambia — owned and operated by the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church.
Zimba College of Nursing and Midwifery is owned and operated by the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church, whose tradition of servant leadership and compassionate ministry shapes everything we do.
Established in 2021 and affiliated with Zimba Mission Hospital in the Southern Province of Zambia, our college trains compassionate nursing and midwifery professionals equipped to serve Zambia's communities with skill, integrity and faith-centred care.
Accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) and the Ministry of Health, our graduates are prepared to practise across Zambia and internationally through SADC mutual recognition agreements.
We exist to train skilled, compassionate and ethically grounded nursing professionals who will serve the health needs of Zambia and beyond — guided by the Christian values of service and human dignity that define the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church.
To train skilled, compassionate and ethically grounded nursing professionals, guided by Christian values of service and human dignity.
To be the leading college of nursing and midwifery in Zambia's Southern Province, producing professionals who transform community health outcomes.
Every nurse and midwife we train carries these values into every ward, clinic and community they serve.
We train nurses who see patients as whole persons — not just diagnoses — treating every individual with warmth and dignity.
Our curriculum is rigorous, practical and aligned to NMCZ standards, producing nurses who are ready from day one.
Rooted in the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church heritage, we nurture nurses whose care is motivated by genuine service to God and humanity.
We produce nurses who serve both urban centres and rural Zambia, with a particular heart for underserved communities.
Ethical practice is non-negotiable in every aspect of nursing care. We build character alongside clinical skill.
Direct clinical placement at Zimba Mission Hospital throughout training ensures our graduates are confident, practiced professionals.
